The poetry competition is in honor of the Black History Month theme “African Americans and the Vote.” It will consist of three poems: a nine-line free verse poem, an acrostic poem and an imagery poem. The winners will be announced on February 29th at 12:00 PM. Prizes will include writing materials and certificates of participation.
