Interlibrary Loan Services
If you are searching for a book but cannot find it in our library collections, try our Interlibrary Loan Service made available through the Mississippi Library Commission Beehive Resource Sharing and Worldcat.org OCLC.
Visit or call the Eudora Welty Library Reference Department at 601-968-5809 & 5803, or fill out an ILL request form at your local branch.
If you are searching for a book but cannot find it in our library collections, our library can borrow the book from libraries nationwide on your behalf through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Interlibrary Loan books have special borrowing rules and have an overdue fee of $1.00 per day.
The following items can NOT be obtained via interlibrary loan: compact discs (CDs), DVDs, recent best-sellers, new books published in the last six months, textbooks, microfilm, and rare & valuable books. Other items may be unobtainable as well.
You must have a current library card in our JHLS system and have no balance of fines on your card. The item you are requesting must be at least 6 months old. The replacement cost of the book you order must be $50.00 or less.
ILL services are free thanks to a LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) federal grant.
