This month long program will consist of several series of events. Starting with Black History month’s history and culture with an emphasis on black women and honoring them with a different display every week and providing educational materials with key take-a-ways. There will be highlights of Library Lovers month, which will include patrons sharing why they love the library, this will also coincide with Valentine’s Day. Each event will have crafts, kits,and activity materials. To help celebrrate black history and valentine we will offer several family friendly movies and trivia games. Heart health will be a focus of our passive programs as well.
