NAMI Mississippi - National Alliance on Mental Illness
NAMI Mississippi, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a non-profit, advocacy organization. NAMI groups at the local affiliate, state, and national levels share one common goal: To improve the quality of life of persons living with serious mental illness along with their friends and families. NAMI Mississippi is made up of family members, peers, behavioral health professionals and friends working to accomplish their mission through mutual support, education, advocacy, and research.
They offer support groups, educational programs, an annual charity walk and more. The support group and affiliate meeting schedule is available on the website.

If you are without insurance and need free medical treatment in the Jackson Area, the Jackson Free Clinic is here to help.
This clinic is operated by the University of Mississippi Medical Center students and offers medical, dental and even psychiatry services on the third Saturday of the month only. Please call for more information.
