This is a teen powered, silent book club, where they will talk about their current favorite book series. There will also be cold brew coffee, as well as holiday flavors for Christmas, honey for others, etc. Though it is mostly passive, there will be an overseer. We will maintain a teen display in the library where the book club can contribute “fan art” to decorate. There will be card stock available for them to do so. There are also art supplies available for “in library use” upon request. Our goal is not only to empower teen literacy while giving them a space, but get fresh ideas about what books we should know about.
