Effective April 26, 2022 per the JHLS Board of Trustees, these restrictions have been lifted.
During the JHLS Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, November 30, the Board approved the following changes to the day-to-day operations of the library branches:
- The Board approved indoor programming. This will also allow for outdoor programs to be moved inside in case of inclement weather. Masks and social distancing are still required. Meeting rooms must remain at half capacity, so it is likely that registration may be required to participate in many of these programs. Please check with the library branch that is holding the program to verify. Meeting room reservations are still not permitted at this time.
- The Board also approved indoor seating, which means that tables and chairs inside the libraries will be allowed for use. Masks and social distancing are still required. Note that study groups are not permitted, but individuals are welcome to use the seating.
