JACKSON MS, May 31, 2024 – Adventure Begins at Your Library Summer Reading Kick Off
The Jackson Hinds Library System invites you all to embark on an exciting journey to explore your library. The 2024 CSLP summer reading theme this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library”. This is a time to cultivate an adventurous lifestyle through experiencing the world around us and discovering something new at our libraries.
On Saturday June 1st we are having our annual Summer Reading Kickoff event at the MS Children’s Museum featuring Dr. Ebony Lumumba as our guest speaker and the Dinosaur Experience program. We will have activities planned throughout the day beginning at 9:00 am until 1:30 pm. The first 100 families who attend will receive wristbands for FREE entry into the museum, so we encourage everyone to come early.
