The Jackson/Hinds Library System warmly invites you all to kick start the holiday season with us this year at our annual open house event “Home for the Holidays.” Our goal is to bring a remarkably joyful experience to our patrons and guests throughout December to make coming to the library feel like home. During our open house we will host plenty of holiday-themed festivities and programs at all library locations system wide. There will be engaging activities such as live music, caroling, pictures with Santa, cooking classes, crafting, and parties for everyone to enjoy.
This open house will not only be a festive celebration, but it is an invitation to bring the community together to meet library staff and learn about the free resources and services we have available to the public as well as highlighting the wide-ranging collection of books, digital resources, and innovative programs that make the library system the central hub for knowledge and community engagement.
This event is free and open to all members of the community. We wholeheartedly encourage families, friends, individuals, and city/county leaders to join us in celebrating the holiday season at the Jackson/Hinds Library System Holiday Open House.
