The Administrative Board of Trustees is actively working with the City of Jackson and Hinds County to plan a bright future for the library system. We aim to provide quality service through our 14 locations, focusing on community, education, and digital life. We currently operate under our historic 1986 city/county agreement, but our history dates back to our original Jackson Carnegie Library’s founding in 1910.
