On Tuesday, May 4th (May the 4th be with you, get it?) the R.G. Bolden/Anna-Bell Moore Library will present a very fun and exciting historical program dedicated to Star Wars. The program is entitled “The Star Wars Saga” and will include a PowerPoint presentation chronicling the franchise’s beginning with George Lucas in the 1970’s. All of the Star Wars films and off shoot projects: TV series, books, video games, etc., will be identified, discussed and analyzed. The program will also emphasize the cultural importance of Star Wars among multiple generations, societies and nationalities. All age groups are encouraged to watch and enjoy, so please bring the popcorn, sodas and plastic lightsabers, because you’re in for one excellent adventure.
