Free Audiobooks from Overdrive

To start downloading audiobooks, you must have a current, unexpired library card and a four-digit PIN in your patron record. Need help renewing your card or choosing a PIN? Please stop by your local library branch.

Need a library card? Library cards are free to all persons who live or own property in Hinds County. Non-resident cards are available for $25.00 a year for a single person or $50.00 a year for families.

Free Audiobooks from hoopla

Thanks to the support of the Mississippi Library Commission, the current hoopla offerings for JHLS were expanded in March 2020 to include more than 82,000 e-audios. This is in addition to the 319,000+ e-books that have been available since September 2019.

hoopla has a very nice selection of e-audios, so download your favorite titles to listen to when commuting, exercising, etc.

NOTE: There is still a three-item limit, so it is not three e-books and three e-audios, but three items total.
