September 6 through December 21, the Metro Jackson Section of the National Council for Negro Women conducts the program. Girls Who Code (GWC) is a national computer coding program that has been in operation for the last seven years to train girls how to code. Registration is required to participate.

Coding for school-aged children will be held at the Bolden Moore Library starting November 6, 2019 and will be ongoing for six weeks. This program is for children in grades 2 through 6 and will begin at 4:30 PM.

Bolden Moore Library | Dec 05, 2019 - Jan 04, 2020

From December 5th through January 4th, the Bolden Moore Library will have a Holiday Season Coloring Contest in the children's area of their library. A number of Holiday themed coloring sheets will be displayed on a table and children will be able to color one sheet of their choosing. Once children are finished coloring, they'll then turn in their sheet with their name and contact number provided. The coloring sheets will then be judged by library staff and a winner will be determined. The grand prize will be a very festive and jolly gift.
