Dancing is a whole-body workout that's actually fun. It's good for your heart, it makes you stronger, and it can help with balance and coordination. It's a great way to make new friends and stay in shape.

Held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM, and Wednesday from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM.

The English as a Second Language class consists of lessons and activities designed to primarily improve English conversational skills. Listening and comprehension will be achieved through an all-English immersive environment.

English language learners of various levels are welcome. Adolescents, adults, and senior adults are all welcome. Registration at the Medgar Evers Library is required. The ESL classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at the Medgar Evers Library from 2:30-3:30 PM. Mr. James Hampton is the instructor.

Patrons, come learn to speak Spanish! This Spanish language program is a course in which patrons will get exposure to basic Spanish. Through fun games and instruction, students will learn the fundamentals of reading, writing, and conversation in a friendly environment. All levels are welcome to attend.

The Spanish classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. Registration is required.

Beginner yoga classes will be held at the Medgar Evers Library every Tuesday evening from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM. La'Desha Jones of Eternal Yoga is the instructor. This program is for teens and adults. Yoga mats will be provided (up to 10 mats) with water.

It will consist of three poems: a nine-line free verse poem, an acrostic poem and an imagery poem. The winners will be announced on February 29th at 12:00 PM. Prizes will include writing materials and certificates of participation.

On Thursday, January 30th at 4:30 PM, the Bolden Moore Library will present a program entitled Alzheimer's Awareness. A representative with Alzheimer's Mississippi will arrive at the Bolden Moore Library to discuss the nature of Alzheimer's disease and what can be done to combat it.
