Giveaways

Each person who registers can pick up a goodie bag after June 7, 2021 at the library branch you chose at registration.

Library branches will also have grab-and-go bags with craft kits and activities, while supplies last.

How to Earn Digital Badges and a Certificate

  • You will earn a badge when you register. This will qualify you to receive a goodie bag. Pick up you bag after June 7 at the library branch you chose at registration.
  • Log books by the number of minutes you read (can be printed, digital and audio). Picture books also accepted. You can also include a book review.
  • You will earn a logging badge for every 100 minutes you read, up to 10 (1,000 minutes). Earn 10 logging badges to receive a printable certificate. Our goal is for all of our participants to read for a collective total of 10,000 minutes.
  • Participate in special activities and give book reviews for extra badges.

Want to keep logging minutes in Beanstack after earning all 10 reading badges? On a desktop, look for the Log Reading and Activities button on the top left corner to log your reading. On the Beanstack app, use the blue plus button to log reading.

Here’s a handy conversion chart for the minutes you read:

100 min = 1 hr 40 min

200 min = 3 hr 20 min

300 min = 5 hr

400 min = 6 hr 40 min

500 min = 8 hr 20 min

600 min = 10 hr

700 min = 11 hr 40 min

800 min = 13 hr 20 min

900 min = 15 hr

1,000 min = 16 hr 40 min
